We are thrilled to announce that Coach Rufus Davis will be joining our team this season. His arrival is eagerly anticipated and we are excited about the positive impact he will have on our team.

Rufus is certified as a US Ski and Snowboard level 300 coach. He raced in USSA Central Division and USCSA in college. He started coaching in 1995 and has coached throughout the US, including Jackson Hole, Brandeis U, Magic Mountain as Head Coach, and most recently West Mt as a U16/18 coach. He has experience coaching all ages and is sure to be an asset to the WMC Racing Team. We look forward to having Rufus join our already incredible staff.

Coach Rufus Davis is putting together a few fall training opportunities for Windham athletes (second year 12’s through 16/18’s). This initial email is to gauge your interest so that we can make arrangements for lane space in advance. As these slots will be taken quickly, your responses are crucial to secure space. Your prompt feedback is highly valued and integral to our planning process.

Killington, a renowned venue, is once again opening its doors for training on the hill prepared for the World Cup. The venue will be in top-notch condition, and we are planning training from Thursday, December 5, through Sunday, December 8. Athletes would need to sign up for at least both weekend days, preferably on Friday through Sunday (6th-8th), with the option to add the Thursday. To secure the lanes, we will need confirmed responses by the end of the month. Please use this form to indicate your interest in this training opportunity.

Rufus also plans to offer a few on-snow drill days at Big Snow (indoors) in New Jersey. These would be on several November weekend dates (9th, 16th, and/or 23rd–exact dates TBD based on interest) before the Thanksgiving camps start.
